1. Devil’s Bridge
Devil’s Bridge is a very popular hiking trail that offers a spectacular view of the Red Rocks. It is one of the largest natural sandstone arch located in the Sedona area of the Coconino National Forest. This trail is a 4.2-mile roundtrip hike with a steep incline. Overall, this is a fairly short hike.
2. Lockett Meadow Inner Basin Loop
Lockett Meadow Inner Basin is located in the Flagstaff area of the Coconino National Forest. The Inner Basin trail is an absolutely stunning trail that is surrounded by fields of sunflowers and groves of Aspens and Pines. This trail is a 3.9 mile (7.8-mile roundtrip) hike.
3. Horseshoe Bend
Horseshoe Bend is located near the town of Page, Arizona. It is one of the most popular tourist attractions today. It offers an incredible cliff view overlooking the natural beauty of Horseshoe Bend and the Colorado River over 1100 feet below. This hike is accessible to anyone of all hiking skills. This trail is 1.25-mile roundtrip. If you are ever in Page, Horseshoe Bend is a MUST SEE!
4. Elden Lookout
Elden Lookout located in the Flagstaff area. This trail is one of the most strenuous hikes I’ve ever done but the view is worth the 2.5-hour hike up. I guarantee you! The trail leads you up a staircase of petrified lava to the summit of the mountain. At the top of the mountain, you’ll enjoy the breathtaking view overlooking the city of Flagstaff and the surrounding areas. This hike is 5.2 miles to the top.
5. Bismarck Lake Trail Head
The Bismarck Lake Trail is one of the most gorgeous trails at the foot of Arizona’s highest peak. It has an amazing view of the San Francisco Peaks and a beautiful glassy view of a pond that reflects Humphreys Peak on a sunny day. This trail is a short 2-mile roundtrip hike.
